Musician Sly Stone, 82, is dead

Sly Stone, often known as the “legend of funk”, was known as a key developer of African -American music.

American musician Sylvester ”Sly Stone” Stewart is dead at the age of 82, says Music magazine Variety.

He was best known as the front of the Sly and the Family Stone band, which played a psychedelic fune.

His family announced the death of a musician on Monday. According to the family, Stone slept calmly, surrounded by his loved ones. For a long time, Stone had suffered from a variety of health problems, such as COPD.
