The cycle, which began in September with the visit of three Spanish authors to the American continent, ends with the arrival of the playwrights in Madrid. Polly Bouquet, Julieta Otero and Laura Sbdar from Argentina and Florence Moreira Figueredo, Virginia Rodríguez and Josefina Tryía from Uruguay.
All of them will present between November 24 and 29, 2025 their works in a theatrical reading format and thus they will meet with Spanish professionals from the sector and then participate in the round table ‘Scenic bridges: dialogues between Ibero-American female playwrights’.
The six texts deal with personal themes, based on autofiction, ranging from romantic relationships, jealousy and fears, or first-time parenthood, to family relationships with their harshness and silences.
