The Real Teatro de Retiro celebrates Christmas with a festive program for all audiences

The Royal Retiro Theater celebrate his third Christmas -between December 6 and January 5- with a program designed for all audiences.

Thus, the children’s stage of the Teatro Real will host more than 30 performances of 6 different music, dance and workshop proposals. The Christmas Concert will inaugurate the program with the proposal ‘Festive Marimba’ and, during all the festivities, the ballet will follow ‘The Nutcracker’ carol concerts, a waltz workshop, the dance show ‘Va de Bach’ and the new date ‘Miniclassical: discovering Polyphony’.

This season, the inaugural concert on December 6 and 7 will be performed by Conrado Moya, one of the most internationally recognized marimba performers, together with the BOOST percussion group.

Starting on December 20, a selection of children’s choirs such as the CEIP Daniel Martín, the Escolanía de Segovia of the Don Juan de Borbón Foundation, the Compañía Marand Musical Young Choir and the Las Veredas Children’s Choir will take to the stage of the Sala Pacífico.

Visitors will be able to celebrate Christmas with the most fun baroque by JS Bach. ‘Va de Bach’ is a production by Aracaladanza – National Theater Award for Children and Youth (2010) – in co-production with the Real Teatro de Retiro, which returns to the stage where it premiered in April 2024.

With the same success as last year, all seats for ‘The Nutcracker’ are already sold out at the Real Teatro de Retiro. The adaptation of this Christmas classic is by the África Guzmán Dance Project in collaboration with the África Guzmán Ballet School of this theater and has already established itself as a tradition in the Christmas programming of this theater.
