The Archaeological Park of Sibari has one stand dedicated to the Mediterranean tourism exchange archaeological site of Paestum and it is the first time that this happens.
“The participation of the Institute – reads a note from the park – recently endowed with autonomy, in the largest exhibition hall in the world of archaeological heritage, held from 25 to 28 November 2021, is also relevant as testimony of the past that continues in its present. Paestum was in fact founded as Poseidonia by the Greek colonists of Sibari who, from the coast of Ionian Calabria, extended their dominion to Campania “.
The Mediterranean Stock Exchange project

At the Archaeological Park of Sibari (which includes the National Archaeological Museum of Sibaritide, the Parco del Cavallo archaeological area and the National Archaeological Museum of Amendolara), it is noted, “the innovation started with the new direction in February 2021. Revolution is also about the methods and contents of the new museum layout, through the choice of involving visitors in the stages of transformation and making the provisional object of narration, listening, participation. The innovation – it is written in the note – also concerns the accessibility of archaeological areas, the development of a protection system that is crucial in the dissemination of the culture of legality, an innovative approach to research and the digitization of heritage. On the occasion of the BMTA, the director Demma illustrates the work in progress and presents for the first time the logo and the new visual identity of the Archaeological Park of Sibari “.
