Los IX Premios Platino se celebrarán el 1 de mayo en Madrid

The IX edition of the Platino Awards, which vindicate the Ibero-American audiovisual, will take place on May 1 at the Ifema Municipal Palace, in Madrid.

With the celebration of this new edition, the Spanish capital becomes the city that has hosted the event the most times, which started in 2014, after having previously hosted it in 2017 and 2021, according to the organization of the event.

On this occasion, the gala will take place on the eve of the Day of the Community of Madrid and the San Isidro festivities, and will once again be held at the Ifema Municipal Palace, a space where the VIII edition took place, while waiting to repeat the “success” of that appointment.

The event, which will have a strict protocol against Covid-19, is promoted by the Audiovisual Producers Rights Management Entity (EGEDA) and the Ibero-American Federation of Film and Audiovisual Producers (FIPCA), with the support of the Academies and Ibero-American Film Institutes, which bring together the great talents of the industries of 23 countries.
