It will be a farewell to the Cyclists’ Association for Klaus Bondam.

This is stated by the organization itself in a press release.

‘The Cyclists’ Association’s director for the past eight years is leaving the post of director to focus on his candidacy for the Radical Left for the parliamentary election, which comes no later than the spring of 2023,’ it reads.

Klaus Bondam says that he has been very happy with his time as director of the Cyclists’ Association.

‘Cycling is as much about strengthening public health, ensuring green conversion and reducing congestion on the roads as it is about transport from A to B. The cycling issue is an even very important societal agenda, and it has been a privilege to be part of drive that realization so far forward, ‘says Klaus Bondam.

Ekstra Bladet has tried to get an in-depth comment from Klaus Bondam, but at the time of writing he has not returned.

Jane Kofod, project and communications manager, will be appointed as the daily leader of the Cyclists’ Association.
