After just over four months on the market, the well-known musician Peter Viskinde’s villa in Aarhus has been sold.
The large artist’s home was offered for sale for as much as DKK 38 million and thus among the most expensive houses for sale in the Jutland city. Nevertheless, the newly registered deed shows that the new owners have secured the keys to the address with a significant million denial.
The sale price for the 433 square meter villa, which is located on a high plot with a view of Aarhus Bay close to Mindeparken and Marselisborg Castle, ended at 30.1 million kroner.
It writes the housing media Boliga.dk.
The large amount of money, despite the rejection, makes the deal the most expensive that has taken place in Aarhus Municipality this year – in fact, the deal also beats last year’s most expensive villa sale in the city, where a 251 square meter villa in Risskov was sold for no less than 29 million kroner.
This year, no villa sales have yet been registered in Aarhus that reach close to Viskinde’s housing price, but earlier this month the sale of a beach road villa in Klampenborg north of Copenhagen went through for just under 61 million, which is the country’s most expensive housing trade. this year.
Far above the price average
Even though buyers ended up getting a discount at Viskinde’s artist home, the selling price is still well above the average for the area.
According to figures from Boliga.dk, the villa and terraced house traders in Aarhus Municipality brought in an average of just under DKK 29,000 per. square meters last year.
The sale of Peter Viskinde’s villa, on the other hand, brought in a sales square meter price of no less than DKK 69,500 – ie more than twice as much as the sales average.
For the total of just over 30 million kroner, the new owners have been given 12 rooms, which according to the sales material from the estate agent Lilienhoff are filled with original details such as curved railings, wall panels, stucco and a patterned terrazzo floor in the hall.
Peter Viskinde, who was especially known as a guitarist and songwriter in the rock bands Malurt and Big Fat Snake, died in March last year.
