The Oscars reject Will Smith’s gesture

Will Smith won the best actor statuette and came back on stage and made a reference to his bloodshed trying to catch up.

Chris Rock does not press charges
For the moment, Will Smith should not have to fear legal consequences. According to the Los Angeles police, Chris Rock does not intend to file a complaint. “Our services are aware of an incident between two people during” the Oscars, during which an individual slapped another. The individual involved refused to file a complaint, ”added the police. If Chris Rock decides to file a complaint later, the police say they are “available to complete an investigation report”.
