The constantly updated Worldometers monitoring page shows that, as of May 21, 2022, 6,298,902 (+1,784 per day) died from the coronavirus disease COVID-19 in the world, about 527 million were infected, about 24 million are currently infected, more than 496 million those who were infected were declared cured. Average lethality: 1.2%.
