The constantly updated Worldometers monitoring page shows that, as of May 22, 2022, 6299913 (+1011 per day) died from the coronavirus disease COVID-19 in the world, more than 527 million were infected, about 24 million are currently infected, more than 497 million those who were infected were declared cured. Average lethality: 1.2%.
