The Ministry of Health updated today (Thursday) that so far 88 cases of vomiting and abdominal pain have been reported by guests who stayed at the Dan Hotel in Eilat, when they did not need medical treatment. An inspection conducted yesterday by the Ministry of Health in the hotel kitchen was found to be normal.
The Ministry of Health has also instructed to continue to monitor and report suspicious cases and will guide the hotel in accordance with the findings of the investigation, as well as to update the public if necessary.
As mentioned, 15 guests at the Dan Eilat Hotel first complained in recent days about cases of vomiting and abdominal pain, and the Ministry of Health conducted an immediate examination in the hotel kitchen, the findings of which were found to be normal and an epidemiological investigation was opened.
