K., the ex-wife of the murder suspect Eldad Perry, spoke this morning (Monday) with Golan Yokfaz and Anat Davidov on their 103FM program about her ex-husband and said that he experienced physical and verbal violence before and during their marriage, for which he was even arrested in the past.
In her opening remarks, K. said that she was “shocked, still unable to digest. I had memories of the past so I did not wonder if it was him or not, but from what I went through before the divorce it was a nightmare, and also after them. So I realized that the man is probably capable “.
“We met when I was 20 and he was 28, we worked together at the same company.” She says. “We divorced ten years after the marriage because there was violence, more than once. There was violence, not once. The threats were incessant.”
“He had a gun at home. As soon as I drove my parents to Friday-Saturday, he got there. Of course I took the kids. When he got there, the gun was just in his hand. His father referred me to the police, he managed to get them, he told them ‘come quickly, man is dangerous.’ “When the police arrived, they grabbed him with the weapon in their hand, threatening to kill me and start firing.”
When asked what the police did then, she said that “they only detained him for seven days, and told me I would go to court. He was very angry with his father for not releasing him on bail for seven days.”
She said the divorcee’s family supported and protected her: “Right. All the way. His sister also supported me. The violence was both verbal and physical, and then his parents intervened. It started the day before the marriage, the day before the wedding. Before the wedding there was no violence. “Physically, there was verbal violence. Immediately after I gave birth, the physical violence began.”
When asked if her children were also subjected to violence or threats, she said: “You will have to ask them that. You will understand, he loved them with a love of soul.” When asked if one of them bought one of the apartments from Eldad Perry with the divorcee, she said: “I don’t know yet and I need to talk about it with my son.” She added that “my two daughters are in a relationship with him, and the son? The son has not spoken to him for a year and a half so I was surprised to hear on TV that he bought with the son. The father does not speak to the son.”
Attorney Shashi Gaz said here on the transmitter that all the evidence is circumstantial. That there is no conclusive evidence against him.
“He’s leading the lawyer. I think it’s big by his standards. He would not have dared to do it. He’s probably got mentally into something here that he was abnormal and performed it.”
