Deborah Scherer will manage the public relations department of the ICI conference – the conference for Israeli medical innovation in cardiology. The conference was initiated by Prof. Rafi Biar and Prof. Haim Lotan, leaders in the field of cardiology in Israel.
The conference is the largest of its kind in Israel. It will take place on December 5-7, 2021 at the David Intercontinental Hotel in Tel Aviv, and will be attended by over a thousand participants from about forty countries. Participants include physicians from a variety of fields, nursing staff, engineers, medical entrepreneurs, representatives of medical equipment companies, venture capital funds looking for the next unicorn and many more.
The conference will feature lectures in over fifty seats and will feature a rich exhibition of innovative technologies from Israel and the world. Among the many topics, the conference will deal with the digital medicine revolution, new developments for home medical surveillance and cyber protection in the world of health.
During the conference, a startup competition will be held and the de Haan Prize of $ 200,000 will be awarded to the outstanding startup. Prof. Biar: “We see a wide range of ideas in the field of health in general and cardiovascular medicine in particular. It is fascinating to see that quite a few of them were born in Israel.” Prof. Lotan: “The world of health is currently characterized by digital innovation, but the market for medical devices continues to advance.”
