AGI – The decline in the epidemic curve in Italy continues. The new infections in the last 24 hours are 1,273, against the 2,275 of the previous day and above all the 1,820 of last Monday.
This is the even lower since 15 September 2020, when it was on the eve of the surge that would lead to the second wave. Tampons are in sharp decline like every Monday, 84,567 (65,000 less than Sunday), but the positivity rate remains stable at 1.5%. This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health.
I deaths are 65, compared to 51 the previous day, for a total of 126,588 victims since the beginning of the epidemic.
The admissions are still down: intensive care is 15 less, with 25 admissions on the day, and dropped to 759, while ordinary admissions are 53 fewer, 4,910 in all.
The region with the most cases today is Campania (+177), followed by Lazio (+170), Tuscany (+160), Sicily (+156), and Emilia Romagna (+155). Total infections thus rise to 4,233,698.
The healed are 5,024, for a total of 3,918,657. Always the number of currently positives is down, 3,819 fewer: the patients still active are now 188,453. Of these, 182,784 patients are in home isolation.
