The Ministry of Health updated this morning (Sunday) that 2,886 verified cases of Corona virus have been diagnosed yesterday. The number of active patients now stands at 32,300, of whom 348 are in critical condition, compared with 274 a day to get up for it.

According to the data: Two patients died yesterday. The death toll now stands at 6,535 and 83,772 corona tests were performed with 3.83% of them returning positive. During that day 970 people were vaccinated for corona in the first dose and 676 in the second dose. To date, 5,805,340 have been vaccinated in the first dose, 5,393,232 in the second dose and 422,326 in the third dose.

Meanwhile, this morning the extended green sign will come into use that will apply in any closed place and in any gathering of over 100 people, including ballrooms, cultural and sports events, restaurants, gyms, hotels and cinemas. Entry to these places will be allowed for the vaccinated and recovering or through a negative corona test from the last 24 hours. From August 20, the green label will also apply to children under the age of 12, who have so far been exempted from the restriction.

It was also decided that from now on it will be mandatory to wear masks even in open spaces in a gathering of 100 people or more. In addition, government ministries will move to a 50% work presence in the ministry.
