8 magic tips to get rid of acidity in Ramadan

The official page of the Egyptian Medicines Authority, on the social networking site “Facebook”, published a leaflet for it, in which it provides a set of health tips and guidelines to reduce the feeling of acidity in the month of Ramadan.

The Egyptian Medicines Authority said that during the month of Ramadan, citizens should avoid fried and spicy food and fatty and highly acidic foods, and “Akhbar Al-Youm Gate” monitored magic tips to get rid of stomach acid, including:

1- Avoid eating processed foods, as well as fatty sweets that are high in sugar, and foods rich in spices, onions and garlic.
2- It is recommended to reduce sources of caffeine such as coffee and chocolate, as well as soft drinks, and to eat small meals as much as possible.
3- Food should be chewed slowly.
4- You should also avoid sleeping after meals; They should be separated by at least 3 to 4 hours.
5- It is also recommended to rely on a healthy cooking method such as grilling, boiling, or steaming.
6- Avoid a lot of pickles and fruits such as (grapes / grapefruit / oranges / pineapples / tomatoes).
7- Avoid strenuous exercise for a few hours after eating.
8- Quit smoking and alcohol, and work to lose weight.
