What will the world of medicine look like in a decade? And how do you develop preventative medicine?

Prof. Zeev Rothstein, President and Chairman of the Epm Advisory Committee:An innovative approach to drug development is challenging. Throughout my life I have always aimed for goals that seemed unattainable at first and have proven, me and my team, time and time again that anything is possible.

Even today – I believe that the advanced concept of drug development will change existing approaches and allow the public in a relatively short time to obtain drugs that until today were not achieved.

What are the major challenges in the healthcare world today?

The world of health today faces a number of challenges: the availability of quality medicine everywhere, drugs that could be used technologically, but the public world can not afford them and therefore has no access to them and lack of digital treatment that will allow home diagnoses, home hospitalizations and more.

We are in epm Address these challenges by using advanced technologies to develop drugs that are based on a large number of molecules that can address a wide range of diseases, and no less important in the strategy of making solutions accessible to the public.

We strive for a path that includes as many collaborations with companies around the world as possible to enhance the therapeutic potential of the platform.

The availability will allow the public to facilitate regulation, rapid drug development and not for many years and thus all costs will be accordingly.

This is with the aim of developing and promoting the drugs of the future that will be used as soon as possible.

What will the world of health look like in the future?

The future world of health will include digital medicine – extensive use of advanced technologies, robotics, and innovative drugs that will reduce the burden on hospitals, to which patients will come only for intensive and life-saving treatments, and the rest of the treatment will be done at home, using the “home hospital” method.

Who are the drugs of the future for?

The field that is of particular interest to the world of advanced medicine is the field of prevention. Detection and identification of risk factors for diseases
And early treatment in order to prevent the disease itself.

What do you think is the source of most of the diseases that people suffer from today?

The source of the vast majority of human diseases is the industrialized, unnatural food that leads to one of the greatest disasters of our time. I estimate that if we find a cure for obesity, we will be able to prevent many diseases that are the result of that morbid obesity and reduce the morbidity. It will also reduce the need for very many medical centers and procedures designed to treat this disease.

EPM drugs Are designed to improve the health status of population groups suffering from inflammatory and autoimmune diseases caused by a wide range of diseases like intestinal problems and of course, obesity, and accordingly improve not only the lives of patients but also the quality of life of environment and family.

Already these days we are focusing on the development of drugs for two rare diseases – one is related to a metabolic disorder that is also associated with obesity called – Prader-Willi syndrome, known as the deadly hunger syndrome, and skin infections such as psoriasis.

Diseases are inherently evolving over the years and so is the technology that is the future in treating and preventing diseases. Our strategy is to develop a wide range of molecules for a wide range of diseases in parallel with collaborations with different companies in the world to make the drugs of tomorrow accessible. Already today.
