The constantly updated Worldometers monitoring page shows that, as of May 12, 2022, 6282356 people (+2123 per day) died from the coronavirus disease COVID-19 in the world, more than 519 million were infected, about 39 million are currently infected, more than 474 million infected are recognized as recovered. Average lethality: 1.2%.
