Miami was led by Jimmy Butler with 41 points, 27 of which he scored in the second half. He also had nine rebounds, five assists, four steals and three blocks. Butler is the 220th basketball player in the history of the league to score at least 14,000 points.Tyler Hirou contributed to the victory with 18 points and seven rebounds, Gabe Vincent with 17 points, Max Strus with 11, and Bem Adebayo with 10 points.
In the Boston team, the most efficient was Jason Tatum with 29 points, with eight rebounds, six assists and four stolen balls. Jalen Brown scored 24 points with 10 rebounds, Robert Williams 18 points with nine rebounds, and Peyton Pritchard finished the game with 18 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Miami won thanks to a good game in the second half, after losing by eight points at the break (54:62). The team “broke” the game in the third quarter, which they won with 39:14. Butler scored 17 points in the third quarter, more than the entire Boston team.
“Jimmy Butler is a top player. A lot of guys in this league play basketball. He plays to win. It’s a completely different thing, and he does it as well as everyone else,” said Miami coach Eric Spolstra.

Marcus Smart was not on the Boston team due to a foot injury and Al Horford, who was registered in the health protocol.
