On Saturday, the biggest club match in Europe will be played. Liverpool face Real Madrid in the Champions League final. A repeat of the 1981 and 2018 finals.

The two clubs have won once each. Now the third mutual showdown between them applies.

Many fans wanted to experience that match live. But when you can not get a ticket, you have to think alternatively and creatively.

A Liverpool fan group has indeed done so ahead of the Champions League final on Saturday at the Stade de France in Paris.

Redmen Family has rented Gladsaxe Stadium, where they gather up to 5000 Liverpool fans who can watch the match on two giant 21 square meter screens.

Thus, a party is planned at Gladsaxe Stadium, which for the occasion will be dressed in red – Liverpool’s colors.

– There is no requirement for people to show up in red jerseys, but it will decorate the garden party if the whole stadium is red.

– We look forward to showing the community and unity that we Liverpool fans stand for, says Daniel Sichlau from Redmen Family, who is behind the magnificent event at Gladsaxe Stadium.

Redmen Family has invested one million kroner in the event, which was also held at Gladsaxe Stadium in both 2018 and 2019, when Liverpool also played the Champions League final.

This time it just gets even bigger with a party starting at noon and culminating at. 22.45 when the final whistles off.

– We have spent a lot of resources on this event, so we also hope for a reward in the form of a victory against Real Madrid, says Daniel Sichlau.

Liverpool have won the Champions League six times. Here from 2005, where they were behind 0-3, but turned the match around and triumphed on penalty kicks in the end.

Since 2015, the Redmen Family has grown to 5,500 paying members. It is nothing compared to the Norwegian branch, where there are around 50,000 members.

– We look up to the Norwegians. They are on a whole different level. Quite impressive how big a fan base they have built up, says Daniel Sichlau.

Only 20,000 fans from each of the two finalists from Liverpool and Real Madrid have gained access to the Stade de France.
