O Paraná Club continues to strengthen itself for the 2025 Paranaense Championship. This Thursday (28), Tricolor announced the arrival of the midfielder Lucas Lourenço23 years old, on loan.
The player is from the Santos academy, where he stayed for 17 years. In 2020, he played 22 games for Peixe and played in the Libertadores in four games. At the beginning of 2021, he played 11 more games for the club on the coast of São Paulo, three of which were in Liberta. Lucas was then loaned to Londrina for Série B.
Then, also on loan, he passed through Santo André, CSA, Botafogo-SP and Figueirense. This season, the midfielder terminated his contract with Peixe and signed with Cianorte. At Leão do Vale, there were 19 games between Paranaense, Copa do Brasil and Série B and one goal scored. Lucas Lourenço is the 13th name confirmed by Paraná.
“Very happy for the opportunity to wear a shirt as traditional and as heavy as Paraná. I will do my best to together achieve the goals that the club deserves. Let’s go together”, said the player.
The midfielder will report to Paraná Clube at the beginning of next week for the start of the pre-season. Tricolor debuts in the 2025 State Championship against Athletico, in the opening round of the competition, on Saturday (11), at 4pm, at Ligga Arena.
Tricolor’s 13 reinforcements so far are: defender Alan Costa, full-backs Lucas Mazetti, Daniel Guedes, João Lucas and Kevin, midfielders Júlio Rush, Geilson and Bruno Vinícius, midfielders Gustavo Xuxa and Lucas Lourenço and forwards Kaio Nunes , Rikelme and Leandro Pereira.
The club only has next year’s State Championship on the calendar. In the competition, however, Paraná Clube will have the opportunity to seek places in Série D and the 2026 Copa do Brasil, thus returning to a calendar for an entire season.
