The attacker Vinicius Junior,from Real Madrid, is in advanced negotiations to become the owner of a club. The 24-year-old player would be one of the new partners of a team from Portugal, whose name is kept confidential.
The Portuguese club would be from the Second Division, and the Brazilian would be in business with a group of investors. The news was initially published by journalist Roberto Antolín, from Cadena COPE radio, in Valladolid.
Current best in the world elected by FIFA, Vini Jr is one of the main activists against racism in the world of football. Additionally, he is the owner of Instituto Vini Jr, which helps children and families through sport.
The Brazilian striker also has a million-dollar contract with the Madrid team and is sponsored by big brands, such as a link with Nike until 2028. The player also has frequent contact with historic athletes from other sports, such as the NBA and NFL.
If the deal is completed, Vini Jr will join a list of players who have become top hats, such as Ronaldo (Cruzeiro and Real Valladolid), David Beckham (Inter Miami), Piqué (FC Andorra) and Juninho Pernambucano (Lyon-FRA manager) at an international level.
