Danish footballer Christian Eriksen said today that he feels good, given the circumstances, and thanked for the numerous messages of support, after he collapsed on the grass during a match with Finland at the European Championship due to a heart attack. “I am fine, given the circumstances. “I have more tests in the hospital, but I feel good. Now I will be cheering for the Danish players in the upcoming games,” Eriksen said on social media.
This is the first message that Eriksen sent to the public, and with the message he published a photo from the hospital bed, in which he is smiling, with a gesture of a raised thumb.
Eriksen collapsed on the field on Saturday night at the end of the first half of the game against Finland, he was given help on the field, his heart stopped, and the doctors resuscitated him with a defibrillator.
He thanked everyone for the messages of support he received around the world and said that it means a lot to him and his family.
