Ski jumper Lisa Eder suffered cruciate ligament rupture

Salzburg ski jumper Lisa Eder tore a cruciate ligament in her right knee during training in Stams on Tuesday. After a jump of 115 meters, the 20-year-old fell, on Wednesday afternoon she was operated on in the Hochrum private clinic in Tyrol, according to a broadcast by the Austrian Ski Association (ÖSV). It also fixed a meniscus damage suffered when falling. The eighth Olympic team is now likely to miss the start of the season in late autumn.
