Hockey|The Aurora League boss does not understand the HIFK solution.
Hifk Recently announced that it would not apply for a license in the Women’s Hockey Main Series in the Aurora League for next season.
HIFK CEO Alexander the snow justified the club’s decision in the bulletin. According to him, the decision is related to the new license terms of the Aurora League and the uncertain financial basis.
Sneen said in the announcement that the proposed contract model is not financially or functionally sustainable.
Auroraiga leader Henni Laaksonen However, according to HIFK, the reasons for HIFK do not correspond to the truth about the new license terms. As a result, the Aurora League will announce the license terms on Wednesday on its own website.
“Their view was that the license would increase the cost of a single team. The reason was amazed at us because the net effect is positive with the license and it was created to promote the growth of the clubs’ financial situation at all,” says Laaksonen.
Laaksonen says that there has been no dialogue with HIFK.
“We want to bring these things up because HIFK communicates in the media that we have negotiations on the matter. This is not true because these are no longer negotiated at this stage. And HIFK has not been in any contact with me.”
“I am still waiting for Sneen to contact.”
By publishing the license terms, the Aurora League seeks to clarify the situation.
“We want the situation to be completely clear to non -eight teams who will submit an application. License conditions clearly see what has to happen over any time span.”
“That is, we want to point out that we do not want to start to raise the cost, but the opposite is because we can help clubs.
Editorial The new licensed conditions show that the Aurora League development allowance is divided into three stages. By fulfilling the goals of each phase, the club is entitled to a development subsidy grant by the Auroraiga.

Laaksonen hopes that the Aurora League and HIFK will be able to get on the same page.
“We want to talk openly with HIFK because the reasons seen in the media are not correct. I want us to get on the same page, after which we can try to solve these problems.”
