The SK Rapid and offensive player Thierry Gale go separate ways. The 23-year-old national player from Barbados, who was loan in the spring for Piast Gliwice was in use in Polish EkstraKlasa, switched to the English third division club Bolton Wanderers.
At the beginning of the week, the loan originally planned for Poland was terminated prematurely in accordance with Poland. As a result, Rapid was able to agree on a permanent transfer with the traditional club from England.
Gale was from the Georgian Club in the summer of 2023 Dila Gori switched to Hütteldorf. However, a serious cruciate ligament injury threw him back, which means that he was only able to complete nine competitive operations (one goal) for the green and white professionals.
His new club, the Bolton Wanderers, took eighth place in the League One last season. Sports director Markus Katzer explains the step as follows:
