Liverpool easily against Watford, Mane’s 100th goal and Firmin’s hat.trick
The Liverpool players defeated the Watford team away today with a convincing 5-0, in the first game of the eighth round of the Premier League.
Liverpool broke a series of two draws even after the fifth victory since the beginning of the championship and is currently first on the table with 18 points. Jurgen Klopp’s team has two points more than Chelsea, and four more than Manchester City, Manchester United, Everton and Brighton, who have a match less.On the other hand, Watford recorded its fifth defeat of the season on Claudio Ranieri’s debut and is 15th on the table with seven points.

The “Reds” dominated the field from the beginning of the match, and it paid off in the ninth minute when Sadio Mane scored for 1: 0. Mohamed Salah sent a great ball towards Mane who shot from the first and sent the ball behind the back of the home team.

This goal was the 100th that Mane scored in the Premier League.

Mane became only the third African player to score 100 goals in the Premier League, after Didier Drogba and Salah. He is also the third player to reach that number without scoring a single goal from the penalty spot, which only Les Ferdinand (149) and Emil Heskey (110) managed to do.

Liverpool doubled the advantage in the 37th minute when Roberto Firmino, after the action in which Mane and James Milner participated, defeated Ben Foster without any major problems.

The visiting team had 84 percent of the ball in their possession in the first half and seven shots towards the opponent’s goal, while Watford did not send a single shot towards the Reds’ goal.

Liverpool solved every dilemma about the winner in this match in just two minutes at the beginning of the second half.

First, Firmino ran on the blocked ball in the 52nd minute after Foster’s defense, and in the 54th minute, Salah got rid of several Watford players with great dribbles and then scored a great goal for 4: 0.

Firmino put an end to this match with his third goal of the match, in the 91st minute, after an assist by Neko Williams.

With this victory, Liverpool became the first English team to score three or more goals in seven consecutive away games in all competitions.

The Liverpool footballers are expecting a derby visit to Manchester United in the next round of the Premier League, while Watford will visit Everton.
