The owner of the pizzeria that was the target of fans: ‘Judge Pajač is a member of the family. This is not the first time’

Igor Paja&ccar; (40) refereed a match ten days ago Champions League in between Athletic Bilbao i Karabagh (3-1) in the Basque Country as the first Croatian referee in an elite football competition after almost ten years, and last weekend he was exposed to many (justified) criticisms because he did not exclude the captain of Dinamo Josip Mišića in the derby against Rijeka on Maksimir (2-1) due to rampage and hitting by at least three visiting players, Toni Fruko, Justas Lasickas and Ante Majtorovi. In other words, for all that, he only received a second card. President of Rijeka Damir Mišković He attacked him a lot in his media appearances after the derby, calling the suspension shameful.

Angry because of the bad judgement, the Hajduks cheered and organized and called for an action of leaving bad reviews on the pizzeria and cafe. Iggi in Sveti Ivan Zelina, a place in Zagreb County, where the judge has his residence, and they believe that he is the owner. That information turned out to be wrong, and the pizzeria itself announced everything, claiming that it had nothing to do with Igor Paja and that the Baji family was owned by the catering establishment.

We contacted the founder of the pizzeria Igor Bajića. He left the business to his daughter Ivoni Bajić Strawčwho is married to the judge’s younger brother Stjepan, i.e. she is his sister-in-law. Apart from him, judge Igor Pajač, otherwise a professor of kinesiology, has another brother So (32), who is a soccer player for Lokomotive.

– The judge is a member of our family and we are proud of him, but he has no specific connection with our pizzeria. And our pizzeria has nothing to do with any club or fan group – Igor Baji, the man after whom the pizzeria was named, told 24sata.

Overnight, the pizzeria was downgraded on Google, writing in comments that “everything is very blue and stinks”, that “you can feel that the dough was bought with bribes from HNS” and that the visitor “got a red card upon entering because he does not support Dinamo”.

– This is not the first time this has happened, but after a while Google removed the comments on its own due to the fact that they were not legitimate, Igor Baji told us, whose object was neither guilty nor liable, due to the refereeing of his brother-in-law’s brother, he found himself under fire from Hajduk fans, whose match he did not referee at all.
