The City players took the lead in the 15th minute with a goal by Phil Foden, who, after a good ball by Consel, just turned the ball into an empty net. Only two minutes later, John Stones tried to throw the ball with his head after the corner, but he hit his own net and equalized to 1: 1.

The home team reached a turning point in the 54th minute with a goal by Riyad Marez, after another assist by the Consul, and Rahim Sterling increased it to 3: 1 with a goal from the penalty spot after Ilkay Gundogan’s throw-in.

The final result was set by Gabriel Jesus in the 92nd minute, and once again the assistant was Concelo.

In Germany, Leipzig took the lead in the eighth minute with a goal scored by Christopher Nkunku, and only four minutes later the home team had a great chance to double the advantage, but Andrea Silva’s shot from the penalty spot stopped Djanluidji Donaruma.

Instead of 2: 0 for Leipzig, PSG turned the score around by the end of the half with goals from Georgi Vajnaldum in the 21st and 39th minute. He scored the first goal after an assist by Killian Mbape, and the second with a header after a center shot by Marquinhos.

At the very end of the match, Nkunku was knocked down in the penalty area, and the referee pointed to the white dot after the check. Dominik Soboslaj took the responsibility and scored for 1: 1, thus bringing a point of hope to his team.

The Manchester City players will meet PSG in the next round, while Club Brugge will host Leipzig.
