Canadian tennis player Felix Auger-Aliassime and his doubles partner, American Jack Sock, defeated the Italian-British pair of Matteo Berretini and Andy Murray in London today after three sets, 2:6, 6:3, 10:8, after which the World Team reduced at 7:8 against Team Europe at the Laver Cup.
Berretini and Murray made two breaks in the first set and took the lead in the match. Their opponents fought back in the second set, making one break, which was enough for them to equalize.
Ože-Alijasim and Sok won the third set with 10:8, won three new points for Team World and reduced the deficit to 7:8 against Team Europe.
Later, Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic and Ože-Alijasim will play in singles, and after them, Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas and American Francis Tiafo will take to the court. The last match tonight will be played by Norwegian Kasper Rud and American Taylor Fritz.
To win the Laver Cup, a team must win 13 points.
