The women’s basketball team of Serbia defeated the selection of Greece today in Valencia with a convincing 85:51 (17:13, 23: 3, 25:21, 20:14), in the game of the second round of Group B of the European Championship.
Serbia was led to the second victory at the championship by Aleksandra Crvendakić with 13 and Diana Butulija with 11 points, Yvonne Anderson scored nine, and Nevena Jovanović and Sasa Čadjo eight points each.
In the defeated team, the best was Katerina Sotiriu with ten points, while Elena Bosgana scored a point less.
Serbia opened the game with a series of 9: 0, and after only four minutes of the game, they reached the first double-digit advantage of 15: 4.
After a few minutes without points in the finish of that section, Serbia went to the first break with only a four-point advantage. However, the question of the winner of this match was practically resolved in the second quarter after three tied three selected by Marina Maljković 30:13.
The Serbian basketball players had a 24-point advantage at halftime, so that the difference in the continuation of the match would grow to plus 40.
