The coach of the men’s handball national team, Toni Djerona, announced today the expanded list of players for the upcoming World Championship in Poland and Sweden.
The championship will be played from January 11 to 29, and Serbia will start the first phase in Group E in Katowice, where they will have Germany, Algeria and Qatar as rivals.
Serbia will play its first match at the World Cup on January 13 against Algeria, two days later the opponent is Germany, while the group stage ends on January 17 with a match against Qatar.
Three selections from all eight groups will advance to the main round of the competition. Semi-finals and medal matches are played in Stockholm.
