The football players of Italy and Switzerland played a draw 1: 1 tonight in Rome, in the penultimate match of Group C qualification for the 2022 World Cup.

The guests took the lead with a goal by Silvan Widmer in the 11th minute, and the equalizer for the Italian team was brought by Giovanni Di Lorenzo with a goal in the 36th minute.

Italy had a chance to reach all three points in the 90th minute, but Jorgenin’s shot from the “white spot” went over the goal.

Within this group, Northern Ireland beat Lithuania 1-0 in Belfast.

Italy and Switzerland have 15 points each on the table of Group C, but Italy is first due to a better goal difference. In the last round, Italy will play against Northern Ireland, and Switzerland will meet Bulgaria.

The first-placed selections will be placed directly at the World Cup in Qatar, while the second-placed national teams and the best two teams from the League of Nations will go to the additional barrage.

Denmark, which previously secured a place in the World Cup, won tonight at home in the Faroe Islands with 3: 1, and so after nine games played, they have the same number of victories.

Andreas Skov Olsen gave Denmark the lead with a goal in the 18th minute, and the score was increased by Jakob Brun Larsen in the 63rd minute.

The guests reduced the score in the 89th minute through Klamint Olsen, which is also the first goal that Denmark received in these qualifications.

The final result was set by Joakim Mele in the third minute of overtime.

In the same group, Scotland beat Moldova 2-0 earlier today, securing a barrage, and Austria beat Israel 4-2 at home.
