The English national football team qualified for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar tonight, after beating San Marino 10-0 on the away field, in the last game of the qualifying Group C.

England was already leading with 6: 0 at half time. Four goals were scored by captain Harry Kane (27 penalties, 31, 39 penalties, 42). The scorers were Harry McGuire in the sixth minute, Emil Smith Rowe in the 58th, Tyrone Mings in the 69th, Tammy Abraham in the 78th and Bukayo Saka in the 79th. The scorer for the English team was also San Marino player Filio Fabri, who scored an own goal in 15th minute.

Jude Belignem shook the net in the 72nd minute, but after using VAR technology, the goal was annulled due to offside.

England is first on the table with 26 points and has qualified for the World Cup for the seventh time in a row, and Poland will play in the playoffs as the second place. Poland has 21 points, and tonight in Warsaw they lost to Hungary with 1: 2.

In that group, Albania ended the qualifying competition with a 1-0 victory against Andorra in Tirana.

Albania is third on the table with 18 points, Hungary has 17, Andorra six, and the last-placed San Marino is without points.

The Swiss national team qualified for the World Cup after beating Bulgaria 4-0 in the last game of Group C in Lucerne.

Goals were scored by Noah Ocafor in the 48th minute, Ruben Vargas in the 57th, Cedric Itten in the 72nd and Remo Freuller in the first minute of overtime.

Switzerland is first on the table with 18 points, two more than Italy, which will play in the playoffs in March after tonight’s 0-0 draw in Belfast with Northern Ireland.

“Azure” did not qualify for the previous World Cup in Russia in 2018.

Northern Ireland is third on the table with nine points, Bulgaria has eight, and Lithuania is in last place with three points.

In Group F, the placement situation was resolved before the last round. Denmark went to the World Cup as the first place, and Scotland will play in the playoffs.

Scotland beat Denmark 2-0 tonight in Glasgow and inflicted their first defeat in the qualifiers.

In other matches in that group, Austria beat Moldova 4: 1 in Klagenfurt, and Israel was better than the Faroe Islands in Netanya with 3: 2.

Denmark is first on the table with 27 points, and Scotland has four less. Israel and Austria won 16 points each, the Faroe Islands have four, and Moldova one point.
