Congratulations to Djokovic after winning the 22nd Grand Slam title

Numerous tennis players and legends of that sport congratulated Novak Djokovic today on winning his 10th title at the Australian Open in Melbourne and his 22nd Grand Slam trophy.

“Tennis from another planet this week from Novak. Rodova Arena, but Novak’s Court,” said Australian tennis player John Millman on social networks.

Today in the final of the Australian Open, Djokovic defeated the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas with 6:3, 7:6, 7:6 and won a record 10th trophy in Melbourne and 22nd Grand Slam title, which tied him with the Spaniard Rafael Nadal.

From Monday, the Serbian tennis player will be the first player on the ATP list, instead of the Spaniard Carlos Alcazar, who did not play in Melbourne due to injury.

“Congratulations on the title and first place in the world. Fully deserved! I hope to see you soon on the court,” Alcaras wrote on Twitter.

The famous Rod Laver and Billie Jean King congratulated Djokovic on the title and stated that it was a privilege to watch such a final match, while the Frenchman Edouard Roger Vaslen joked.

“Not bad,” said the Frenchman with a smiling emoticon.

Canadian Vašek Pospišil wrote that he did not remember when he was so happy for a tennis player and stated that Djokovic’s victory was deserved, while Australian Alex De Minor stated that the Serbian tennis player was “too good”.

“He’s just different,” said Australian tennis player Tanasi Kokinakis.

Tunisian tennis player Uns Jabir stated that Djokovic is an inspiration to everyone, and Argentina’s Juan Martin Del Potro also congratulated her.

“What a champion”, he stated and added in Serbian: “Let’s go Nole”.

Australian Nick Kyrgios also spoke.

“Haha I told you. We created a monster. Kudos to Nola… I sat on the couch and enjoyed the show,” he stated.

Tennis coach Patrik Muratoglu also praised Đoković’s achievements.

“Winning the Australian Open with all the emotions that go with it, winning 22 Grand Slam titles in 10 Australian Opens is one of the greatest sporting achievements,” Muratoglu said.
