Today in the final of the Australian Open, Djokovic defeated the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas with 6:3, 7:6, 7:6 and won a record 10th trophy in Melbourne and 22nd Grand Slam title, which tied him with the Spaniard Rafael Nadal.
From Monday, the Serbian tennis player will be the first player on the ATP list, instead of the Spaniard Carlos Alcazar, who did not play in Melbourne due to injury.
“Congratulations on the title and first place in the world. Fully deserved! I hope to see you soon on the court,” Alcaras wrote on Twitter.

“Not bad,” said the Frenchman with a smiling emoticon.
Canadian Vašek Pospišil wrote that he did not remember when he was so happy for a tennis player and stated that Djokovic’s victory was deserved, while Australian Alex De Minor stated that the Serbian tennis player was “too good”.
“He’s just different,” said Australian tennis player Tanasi Kokinakis.

“What a champion”, he stated and added in Serbian: “Let’s go Nole”.
Australian Nick Kyrgios also spoke.
“Haha I told you. We created a monster. Kudos to Nola… I sat on the couch and enjoyed the show,” he stated.
Tennis coach Patrik Muratoglu also praised Đoković’s achievements.
