British tennis player Andy Murray was selected today in the Olympic team for the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo. The two-time Wimbledon champion will play in singles and doubles, where his partner will be Joe Salisbury.
Dan Evans will also play in the single, as well as in the doubles with Neil Skupski.
In the women’s singles, the British team will be represented by Heather Watson and Joanna Conte, who will also perform together in the doubles.
According to the BBC, there was no place in the team for doubles specialist Jamie Murray.
The composition of the mixed doubles has not been determined yet.
The Olympic Games will be held from July 23 to August 8 in Tokyo.
