Mercedes driver Luis Hamilton won the Formula 1 race for the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix tonight in Jeddah and tied for the first place in the general classification with Max Verstappen from Red Bull.

In one of the most controversial Formula 1 races, Hamilton recorded the third consecutive victory, the eighth in the season, and the 103rd in his career. He also won an extra point for the fastest lap of the race, so he is tied with Verstappen, as they both have 369.5 points each.

The second place was taken by Verstappen, and the third place went to Valteri Botas from Mercedes, who passed Esteban Okon from Alpin in the last meters.

The race was interrupted on two occasions due to an incident on the track, and during it, the directorate made controversial decisions regarding the return of positions.

The last race in the championship is scheduled for seven days in Abu Dhabi.
