Jansrud ended the season due to a ligament injury
Norwegian skier Kjetil Jansrud will miss the rest of the season due to a ligament injury, after falling in the super-giant slalom race in Beaver Creek, the ski association said today. “The season is over for me, but I am motivated to do everything necessary to return,” he said. The 36-year-old skier is stated in the announcement of the Federation.

Jansrud will have to undergo surgery, and his break should last between six and nine months, so he will miss the Beijing Winter Olympics.

In his career so far, the specialist in fast disciplines won Olympic gold in 2014 in the super-ji, while in 2019 he won gold at the World Downhill Championships.

The Beijing Winter Olympics are on the program from February 4 to 20, 2022.
