Serbian national team member in shooting Damir Mikec won a silver medal today at the World Cup in Osijek, in the air pistol discipline.

Mikec now has a total of 14 medals in the World Cup in his career, and two Crystal Globes won, the Shooting Association of Serbia reported.

The gold medal was won by the Iranian Javad Forugi, while the bronze medal went to the Indian Shaudari Saurab.

On the first day of the World Cup, next to Mikec, the best result from the Serbian representatives was Milenko Sebić with 11th place, in the air rifle discipline.

The best Serbian competitor was Teodora Vukojević, who took 16th place in the air rifle discipline.

The World Cup in Osijek ends on July 2.
