Verstappen was the fastest in the second training session in Saudi Arabia

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen was the fastest in today’s second free practice ahead of the Formula 1 race for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Verstappen clocked a time of 1:29.063 minutes and was 0.2 seconds faster than Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso. Red Bull driver Sergio Peres was third, a tenth behind Alonso.

The current world champion was the fastest in today’s first training session in Jeddah.

Alpino driver Esteban Ocon was fourth, Mercedes’ George Russell was fifth, and Alpino’s Pierre Gasly was sixth.

Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz took ninth and 10th place, followed by seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes.

The third practice on the program is on Saturday from 2:30 p.m., and the qualifications are run on the same day from 6 p.m.

The second race in the championship for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is ​​on Sunday at 6 p.m.
