The handball players of France advanced to the finals of the World Cup tonight in Granollers, as they defeated the selection of Denmark with 23:22 (10:12).

During most of the second half, Denmark was in the lead, leading by four goals on two occasions, and in the end, the team that won gold at the Olympic Games in Tokyo came to victory.

The most efficient in the selection of France was Pauleta Fopa with four goals, while Alicia Tublan, Melin Nokandi, Alison Pino, Grace Zadi and Estelle Nze Minko added three goals each.

In the selection of Denmark, Lynn Haugsted was better than the others with five goals, Ana Mete Hansen scored less, and Mie Engrob Hojlund scored three goals.

France last played in the final of the World Cup in 2017, when they defeated Norway in the final.

In the second semifinal of the World Cup in Spain, the national team and Norway will meet tonight.
