The best tennis player in the world, Novak Djokovic, will start defending his title at Wimbledon against the Briton Jack Draper, it was decided today by drawing lots in London.

Draper is currently the 250th tennis player in the world, he is 19 years old and this will be his first appearance at a Grand Slam tournament. That match will be played on Monday at 2 p.m.

The Serbian tennis player could meet the South African Kevin Andersen in the second round, and the Spaniard Alejandro Davidovic Fokin in the third round.

After that, Djokovic’s possible opponents are Geal Monfis and Kristijan Garin, while Andrej Rublev, Diego Schwartzman or Janik Siner would be waiting for him in the quarterfinals.

According to the draw projection, Djokovic’s potential rivals in the semifinals are Stefanos Cicipas, Roberto Bautista Agut and Denis Shapovalov, and in the finals Danil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev, Roger Federer, Mateo Beretini.

Djokovic has won Wimbledon five times so far in 2011, 2014, 2015, 2018 and 2019.
