Sturm Graz will go into spring without top striker Kelvin Yeboah (21). The Italian youth team striker from Ghana was on Saturday for a medical check-up at FC Genoa. In the afternoon the transfer became official.
The transfer fee for Yeboah, who had a contract with Graz until 2024, should amount to six million euros, according to media reports – a record transfer for Sturm Graz.
Genoa coach is the former star striker Andrij Shevchenko: “We have to give him time to train and integrate.”
The people of Graz are happy about the rain of millions. “This transfer enables the entire club to develop very well. We have numerous projects waiting to be implemented,” says Managing Director Thomas Tebbich.
