Because of Corona regulation: Austria has to cancel test games

Wiener Austria canceled two test games planned against regional league players due to the Corona regulation amended on Tuesday. The games against the Wiener Sport-Club on Wednesday (today) and the Wiener Linien Elektra team on Saturday cannot take place, as the maximum number of people who play sport together is limited to 25 due to the regulations. This does not apply to top-class sport – i.e. the Bundesliga and 2nd league – but to popular sport.

As Austria calculated, the two teams alone, including the referees and the two head coaches, would have already comprised 25 people. Accordingly, there would be no more room for substitutes, linesmen, other supervisors or masseurs and doctors. A test opponent from the top-class sport area is now being sought for Saturday.
