Marcell Jacobs postpones season debut, will not compete in the 100 meters in Rabat

Two-time Olympic champion Marcell Jacobs will not compete on Sunday in Rabat, Morocco, where he was expected for his seasonal debut over 100 meters, in the second stage of the 2023 Diamond League. The 28-year-old from Brescia made the announcement on his social profiles: “ I’m forced to miss the 100m debut and the first match of this year with Kerley in Rabat, who I cared about very much, due to a slight lumbar-sacral block that I plan to resolve as soon as possible. It’s not an injury, it’s just the result of a false support, which however prevents me from competing in Morocco. Technically I feel fit and ready to have a great season outdoors. The challenge is only postponed”.

Jacobs is located in Munich and has already received a first treatment from prof. Müller-Wohlfahrt who had already followed him in the past, the professor of Bayern Munich and Usain Bolt.
