Foyc won the downhill in Kitzbühel

Swiss skier Beat Foiz won today in the downhill race, which was run as part of the World Cup in Kitzbühel, Austria.

Foyc won 1: 56.68 minutes and achieved the first victory of the season.

Swiss Marko Odermat took second place with 0.21 seconds behind, and Austrian Daniel Hemetsberger was third with 0.90 seconds behind.

Austrian Matthias Mayer finished the race in fourth place.

The Swiss Odermat is first in the general classification with 1,200 points, 375 more than the second-placed Norwegian Alexander Omot Kilde, who was sixth today. Mayer is third with 692 points.

Kilde is first in the downhill standings with 445 points, eight more than Foyc, and Mayer is third with 402 points.
