League of Conferences: Partizan players beat Sparta in the League of Conferences
The Partizan football players defeated the home team Sparta with 1: 0 tonight in Prague, in the first game of the playoffs for placement in the eighth finals of the League of Conferences.

The only goal was scored by Quincy Menig in the 78th minute, when he lobbed Sparta goalkeeper Dominique Holec.

At the beginning of the game, Partizan had two opportunities, through Lazar Markovic and Quincy Menig, but the home goalkeeper was more successful.

Sparta threatened in the 10th minute, when David Hancko tried to head, and goalkeeper Aleksandar Popović defended. The goalkeeper of the black and whites reacted well three minutes later with a shot by Aleksandar Karabec.

Markovic shot next to the goalpost in the 28th minute, and after that there were no opportunities, so the first part of the game ended without a goal.

In the second half, the Belgrade club was the first to threaten, but the good action ended with a bad cross by Aleksandar Miljković in the 54th minute. After that, they played in the middle of the field without much excitement, which the coaches used to change some players.

After the first serious chance in the continuation, Partizan took the lead in the 78th minute, when after a good cross by Sasa Zdjelar, Menig lobbed the running goalkeeper of Sparta.

Black and whites could have doubled the advantage in the 84th minute, but after a pass from Marko Milovanović, Miloš Jojić missed a great opportunity in front of the goal, when his shot was well defended by Holec.

Sparta had the best opportunity in the first minute of overtime, when after the corner, Hancko sent the ball with his head next to the goal.

The rematch is scheduled for seven days in Belgrade.
