Serbian tennis player Ivana Jorović did not manage to place in the second round of the Olympic tournament in Tokyo, as she was defeated today by the Belgian Alison van Ujtvank with 6: 3, 6: 2.

Jorović managed to defend herself in the first game on her serve and saved three break points, but not in the next, so the Belgian took the lead with 3: 1 and that one break was enough for her to lead in sets.

With two breaks, Van Ujtvank took the lead with 4: 1 in the second set, the Serbian tennis player managed to return one break and reduce it to 4: 2, but in the next set she lost her serve again, after which she could not return to the match.

The Belgian will play in the second round of the Olympic tournament against the Czech tennis player Petra Kvitova, who defeated the Italian Jasmine Paolini with 6: 4, 6: 3.
