Villarreal forward Yeremy Pino underwent surgery this Monday to rupture the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, which occurred last Wednesday during team training, the Castellón club has confirmed.
“Yeremy Pino underwent surgery this Monday for the rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee by Dr. Manuel Leyes at the La Luz Hospital in Madrid, under the supervision of the Villarreal CF medical services,” reported the yellow entity.
The Canarian footballer, who will miss the remainder of the season, was injured during training last Wednesday at the José Manuel Llaneza Sports City.
“Villarreal CF sends a lot of encouragement and all its strength to Yeremy Pino. In the same way, it wishes the player a healthy recovery. We are all with you, Yere!” he added.
