Paris Saint-Germain football player Killian Mbape is in the team for the upcoming rematch of the eighth finals of the Champions League against Real Madrid, his club announced today.
Mbape injured his leg in training over the weekend, so the French media speculated that he could miss the game on Wednesday in Madrid.
Paris Saint-Germain announced that after new examinations, it was established that the situation is better, which is why Mbape is in the team of 24 players, but that it will be known during the day whether the young striker will play in the return match.
Mbape was the scorer of the winning goal in the first game against Real, in the fourth minute of overtime.
Defender Sergio Ramos will miss the match in Madrid, due to a right leg injury, but he will travel with the team to a duel against the club he played for for 16 years, from 2005 to 2021.
Paris coach Mauricio Pochettino said that the former Real captain will be able to give good advice to his teammates before tomorrow’s game.
“Any contribution from Sergio can be positive, even decisive,” Poketino said.
Ander Herrera will also miss the match due to conjunctivitis.
The match between Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain will be played on Wednesday at 9 pm in Madrid.
